We have provided support to promising opera singers who have won prestigious international competitions and helped them grow and take center stage as opera superstars.

SeAH Woon Hyung Lee Foundation is proud to support soprano Myung-Joo Lee, Vittoria Yeo, Ha-Young Ra, baritone Julian Kim and tenor Beom-Jin Kim, Hyun-Sik Shin and Ki-Hun Park.

• Annual SeAH Woon Hyung Lee Foundation Concert

  Since 2015, we have hosted annual SeAH Woon Hyung Lee Foundation Concert. With the theme of “Opera Bucket: beautiful operas you must listen,” the concert was held to invite the public into the world of opera and give artists an opportunity to show their performance and interact with each other. This concert especially stages collaboration between artists under the patronage of SeAH Woon Hyung Lee Foundation and world-famous singers.

  

• Local Concert Titled “Concert for Beautiful World”

  Through concerts in in small and medium-sized cities, including Chungju and Gunsan, we encourage local people to enjoy the beauty of the cultural arts and get closer to classical music. The concert was held in Chungju in May 2015, in Gunsan in September 2015 and in Changwon in October 2016, and we look forward to taking the concert to more cities going forward.’’

  

• Academic Research Supporting Effort

  SeAH Woon Hyung Lee Foundation provides substantial support for Korean academics dedicated to the fine arts through financial aid for the publication of a series of music books. Moreover, we help musicologists devote themselves solely to their study of music.
