India SeAH Precision Metal was established in April 2003 under the name Hansung Metal. It was acquired by SeAH FS in October 2011 and renamed India SeAH Precision Metal in April 2012. India SeAH Precision Metal operates factories in Noida near Delhi in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh and in Chennai of the southern state of Tamil Nadu. The firm imports small-sized steel and copper tubes and fabricates them to produce suctions, clusters, hot pipes, and connection pipes that are used as parts in refrigerators and air conditioners. With the key buyer base of Samsung, Carrier, Daikin, and Videocon, the company has been focusing on marketing in the Indian market since the acquisition with a strategy to diversify buyers and products.
